You are NOT a lazy wife because you have or accept help

You are NOT a lazy wife because you have or accept help. 👏🏻

It took me years to realize this. I always wanted to do it all as a wife and as a person… and do it all well.

I wanted to cook healthy meals, keep an immaculate house, work a full-time job, get in the workouts, and never have to turn down a date night with my husband or dinner with friends.

However, there isn't enough time in the day to do ALL of the things perfectly on your own.

And if there is, you're probably giving up time on self-care, sleep, or time with family.

Recently, I've started accepting help. I've realized that it's okay

Okay to pay someone else to clean your home if it means you have more time to take your kids to the park.

Okay to have groceries delivered if it means you can have a relaxing Sunday at home with your family.

Okay to drop your kids off at your parent's house while you get your hair done.

Okay to have a company meal prep your food so you can go have dinner with your friends.

Okay to let your mom fold your laundry when she offers.

And yes, maybe sometimes it costs extra money, but your time is also worth something, too.

Prioritizing your life to make sure that you have time for the things that are most important to you is NOT lazy. It's efficient.

Don't let anyone tell you differently. So get the groceries delivered if that's what you want to do.
